I hope this note finds you happy and healthy today. 🙂
I had mentioned previously that I wanted to list the dog-friendly places my husband and I visit with our boys in the south valley area. Below I listed a few. Please feel free to leave comments regarding places you recommend that are dog-friendly so that I can try them out too! I love going new places with the 4-legged kiddos. And I also adore supporting those businesses who realize pets are family.

Sky Harbor Airport – yup, you heard that right. They are completely dog-friendly. We have gone numerous times with Larry and Murphy to eat at one of the yummy restaurants outside the gates in terminal 4 and have never been questioned. Both Sauce and Cheuvront Wine Bar had no problems with the boys being INSIDE the restaurants. To see what dining options are available follow this link: Terminal Restaurants – Sky Harbor Airport. You can also ride on the sky train with your pooch if you wish (this is fun at night to see the city lights) Sky Train- WOOT!
Hillside Spot – this is hands down one of my favorite places to eat. They always have excellent food and great craft beers on tap. There is a coffee/espresso bar and homemade desserts up front and the servers have always been kind. Note- the actual outdoor patio does NOT allow dogs! When you request a table ask for one of the dog-friendly ones that are specifically designated and they’ll get you all set up. Hillside Spot – Try Their Levain Bread- YUM
Uncle Bear’s – all of the Uncle Bear’s I’ve been to in the valley have been dog-friendly. They have super cool fire pits and/or fireplaces usually on the patios. Try the beer cheese soup- it’s amazing! Always Pooch Friendly – Always Beer Friendly
San Tan Brewing – well, you can’t go wrong with great brews on draft and a comfy patio to hang out at with your best furry friend! This place gets amazingly busy during peak hours. Try their Spent Grain Beer Bread- it is fantastic! San Tan – When Trendy Is Ok
Mangos Mexican Café – right on Main Street in Mesa! They have delicious Mexican food and are always happy to see dogs on their patio. Ask for David- he’s terrific and will take good care of you and your canine companion. Those Tortas Will Rock Your World
The Handlebar Tempe – if you’re into beards, man buns and excellent beers on tap this is the place for you. Great patio and excellent French fries (dip them in Handlebar’s Sun-Dried Tomato Basil Aioli and you won’t be sorry). Weird for the Beards- Great Drafts
Casey Moore’s Oyster House – the patio is huge and fun and there’s a fish pond! Also, it’s a great place to relax because people from every walk of life come here. Do not go to Casey Moore’s if you are judgy- there are a lot of characters here. Highly recommend. Also, great food. Also, haunted. Ask your server to tell you some stories. Eat & Drink Here – You’ll Love It
Fiesta Mexicana – always dog-friendly and great service (Chandler location). Inviting patio with a fire pit. Live music some nights (if Kristy Dee is playing you’ll love her voice and guitar solos). Those Chicken Taquitos Tho…
The Living Room – a fabulous place to unwind and sit back. We always have a marvelous experience at the DC Ranch and Ahwatukee locations. They will bring your 4-legged baby fresh water in a paw print bowl. Yummy brunch on Sundays and bottomless mimosas. How Many Mimosa’s Is Too Many Mimosa’s…?
